Boracay Bummers

November 27, 2014.

Everyone in our household is excited. Why? Because we are going to Boracay!!!

From Batangas to Boracay? It was such a long trip but who cares. If you will be seeing a paradise and would stay there for 4 days and 3 nights :)

We booked a separate flight with the time lapse of 1 hour departure. This is to ensure that come what may, there would still be family members that will be left on earth. Haha. Thank God we arrived safe and sound.

Time check: 12:15PM. We have touched down Boracay. My brother-in-law's family is from Aklan so we were picked up by his cousins at the airport. Two vans at that. Haha.

It was a gloomy day and has low pressure area and from time to time there was a rainshower on our way to Caticlan. We dropped by to my brother-in-law relatives in Ibajay before we get to Boracay. We reached the island around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Had our checked in. Rest for awhile. Still a couple of rainshowers greeted us in Boracay. We were like, we will not going to enjoy this trip if the low pressure area continues til we depart.

On our way to Boracay, my pamangkins were disappointed because they thought that there's not much to see in the island. Little that they know that behind the busy town of Malay Aklan, there is a paradise that will take their breath away.

As soon as we reached the white beach , my pamangkins only uttered one word. WOW! And even if it's raining at that, they can't help it but get outside to the beach and enjoy the powdery sand and cool water.

November 28, 2014.

We promised to wake up early so can catch the sunrise but it was another gloomy day at the beach. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the walk at the shore since there not much people yet with our PJs. Haha.

Good thing, Mr. Sun started to show off and then here we are bummers. We enjoyed, the sun, the sand and the beach.

It was indeed a beautiful day bumming at the beach.

We went back to the hotel after lunch to get a nap. It was around 2PM, when we were told that were going to have a free island tour courtesy of the hotel where we stayed at so were like "Hurry up! Let's see thr other side of Boracay"

We really enjoyed our island tour where we visited the Mt. Luho view deck. From there you could see the island from the top. Amazing view.

It is also the best time to stop and listen to your favorite music.

Every moment with your family is priceless. The endless kulitan and asaran are always part of the journey. Haha.

After the Mt. Luho trip, the transport service dropped us at Ilig-iligan beach. The rainbow after the rain added drama to the breathakingly beautiful paradise.

We were still at Ilig-iligan beach when the rain started to fall again. So the Puka Beach adventure has been dropped and we just decided to come back to the white beach. There's a lot of games and outdoor activities you'll definitely enjoy in Boracay. The 4x4 rides. The parasailing. Kite surfing. It is up to you what you would like to try. But the stroll along the beach is more than enough for you to enjoy the island.

What is Boracay when you didn't get out at night and enjoy the party at the beach.

November 29, 2014.

Another gloomy day at the beach. LPA still up in Boracay.

But that didn't stop us from our island hopping and snorkeling activities in our 3rd day. We rented 2 boats to bring us to Puka Beach. And yes! It is another paradise.

What's the kids enjoyed most. It was their snorkeling experience.

We went back to the hotel to celebrate the 39th birthday of my sister over sumptuous lunch :)

The rain started to pour again and didn't stop until late afternoon. We were not able to see any sunset in Boracay. We planned to party all night in Epic Bar for my sister's birthday celebration but decided to just stay in the hotel room due to heavy rains. Sad.

November 30, 2014.

The heavy rain still pouring down in our last day in Boracay. It is a bad timing that we went there but even with the heavy rains and low pressure area, we enjoyed our 4 days and 3 nights stay. We were definitely a beach bummers in Boracay.

Til we see each other again ❤
